"We would like to say that we enjoyed staying at the River Gate Inn. It was even better than what we were expecting. The rooms and bathrooms are all clean and well maintained. The decoration and antiques around the house provide a calm atmosphere as if we had gone back in time. The neighborhood is quiet and nice and easy to walk to public transportation or to a nearby attraction from the Inn. We stayed for 8 nights and each morning we had a different item for breakfast…delicious food prepared with tenderness following our special dietary restrictions…the computer and internet access made it possible to get in touch with our family and friends either in Brazil or in Canada. But beyond that, the hosts Keith and Michelle and really friendly and welcoming. They really take the time to make us feel comfortable and help us with any information we requested. We do recommend the River Gate Inn, a place we can call home with people we certainly call friends." |

"I have been a regular at Bed and Breakfasts throughout Canada and when I entered the River Gate Inn I felt it was one of the best. The service and warmth are 5 star. It was very clean, private baths, and the other guests I met said the same thing "this is a home away from home". Anyone traveling to Winnipeg should experience this B & B for the people, place, food. Hope to see you again soon," |
